Name: Satoru Ishigaki

Age: 17 (He missed a year due to "illness" so he's a year older than everyone else)

Birthday: June 2nd

Grade Average: A-

History: Satoru had a fairly normal childhood. He was the only child of his father, a buisnessman, and his mother, a housewife. However, when Satoru was twelve, a burgular broke in and shot his parents who were watching TV in the living room at the time. Satoru was put in a psychiatric rehabilitation program for a year to help him cope with his loss. Afterwards, he joined a hardly-known experimental government housing program in a different part of the country. When he was 15, the housing program enrolled him into the experimental boarding school nearby. Nearly every day, he leaves the school to go back to his housing complex for extracurricular activities. What these activities could be is anyone's guess.

Appearance: Satoru stands at about 5'9" and has an athletic and toned body. He has short black hair and dark eyes. He is fairly handsome, but nothing incredibly outstanding. Satoru's hair is short and black, and his eyes are dark. He tends to wear neat and comfortable clothes, but nothing too fancy.

Personality INCLUDING three strengths and weaknesses: Satoru is a quiet and rather mysterious boy. He tends to be polite and charming when he talks to people. He gets good grades and does well in sports, and would be considered the kind of boy a girl would be happy to bring home to her family. He tends to trust people easily and often refuses to believe that one person could deliberately hurt another. Despite his grades, he can be awkward and is often percieved as dim. Nobody from the class has been to (or even seen) his housing complex, and classmates often guess at what he could be hiding there. Because he still remembers his parents' murders, he hates action movies or anything having to do with crime and guns.

Strengths: Athletic, charming, intelligent.

Weaknesses: Too trusting, afraid of guns, considered a mystery by most classmates (and some one not to be trusted)

Overnight Bag: Clothes, books, pencils, hygiene bag, alcohol, cigarettes, and candy

Father – Kentaro Ishigaki, died at age 42 when Satoru was twelve. He was a mid-level excecutive for a company that dealt with furniture imported from Germany.

Mother – Ayumi Ishigaki, died at age 40 when Satoru was twelve. She was a housewife who hated cooking but did so for the sake of her husband and son.

Extra-Curricular Activities: None at the school. He spends two hours most days at the government housing complex he used to live at, where he performs undisclosed extracurricular activities.

Classroom Behaviour: "Satoru is a wonderful student, although most of us teachers wish he would speak up more often in class. Still, his grades are excellent and he never starts fights, so we aren't complaining."

Friends and Enemies:

Sayuri Ono- Sayuri was drawn to Satoru because of his kind and charming manner, and the two of them have gotten along well. They have become good friends and they often do schoolwork and hang out together, but their introverted natures have prevented them from becoming extremely close to eachother.

Seikou Ishida- Since both boys are the quiet, kind, and intellectual type, they've gotten along well in classes. Seikou is slightly curious as to what Satoru does after school, but he doesn't get nosy about it or ask questions (which Satoru is grateful for.) Due to their similar interests, they consider each other friends and often hang out.

Miyuki Ishida- Satoru has gotten to know Miyuki from being friends with Seikou. They don't know each other particularily well, but they get along.

Rai Shindou- Itsuo introduced Rai and Satoru together, and the two of them quickly hit it off and became good friends. They spend a lot of time together with their other friends (Itsuo, Seikou, and Ken) in a bit of a mini-group.

Taylor Takahashi- Since Satoru spent three years essentially raised by the government, he is a little wary of foreigners. In addition to coming from America, Taylor's skills and boundless energy seem supernatural to Satoru at times. Although he gets along with her and considers her a friend, she is the only person in the class Satoru is afraid of.

Itsuo Tateno- Itsuo and Satoru became quick friends due to their many similarities. Since Satoru is physically stronger and a year older, he has become a surrogate big brother to Itsuo. The two of them spend quite a bit of time together along with Itsuo's other friends.

Sakura Tsumatsu- The two were assigned to a project together on Satoru's first week of school. They hit it off and have been close ever since. Satoru even plays poker with Sakura most nights when he isn't at his "house" (although Sakura had to teach him how.) Satoru helps Sakura practice for debates, but he isn't on the team himself, since his government housing forbids other extracurricular activities. Some people might consider them boyfriend and girlfriend, but according to Satoru they are just a boy and a girl who are very good friends.

Kentaro Fukushima- Satoru knows Kentaro mainly because they both hang out with Seikou, Itsuo, and Rai. They end up spending a significant amount of time together because of their common links, but otherwise have no extraordinary bond (although they are on friendly terms with each other.)

Raina Yoshizawa- Since they are both rather quiet, they don't know each other very well. They each consider the other one a friendly acquaintance, some one to trust but not to seek out.
